A changing world, a new political landscape and an age of austerity are challenging the Aerospace, defence and security industry to do things differently.

As the MoD responds to financial cuts with a more commercial mindset, the aerospace and security industry will be rethinking its approach to its home and global markets as it deals with a combination of pressures including macroeconomic uncertainty, price and the need to expand internationally accompanied by customer expectations of innovative products and services, and lower costs.

The industry as a whole needs to work together to manage costs while remaining agile and retaining the ability to respond to the unexpected.
