Innovation fires aerospace and defence success

Aerospace & defence (A&D) companies are focusing their effort on innovation. They need to innovate to create competitive advantage in an increasingly competitive market, according to our survey questioning industry CEOs. 

 

The A&D Industry Group recently launched our second edition of A&D Insights: Gaining technological advantage. We discuss our findings from a series of interviews with CEOs and senior executives in the aerospace and defence industry on the subject of new technologies and adjacent markets.

 

A&D companies will need to succeed in researching, developing and commercialising new and emerging technologies in order to succeed. It won’t be easy as costs get squeezed, but, along with managing operational spend, developing new technology will be key to trimming costs and growing revenues.
