Form RP1 - Payment Update

The Receivers and Managers have spent considerable time on your behalf verifying that all the personnel details you included on the RP1 forms agreed with the company records and also that the statutory payments being claimed on forms RP1 were also recorded correctly. As a consequence we are pleased to inform you that all forms that have been submitted as at 09 July 2009 are now being processed.

We have spoken to the Redundancy Payments Office who have confirmed that claims payable on the form RP1 should be paid into your bank accounts by the 31 July 2009 at the very latest.

Appointment of Receiver and Manager - First week employee update

First of all, we would like to thank each and every one of you for all your efforts during the last 5 days. It has been a difficult time and there have been numerous demands made of each of you. We really appreciate you working with our teams. It is through the hard work and efforts of everyone at Dairy Farmers of Britain that we have managed to ensure that the farmers' milk is being collected and that we have continued to service our customers.

By way of an update, we have received numerous expressions of interest for parts of the group, which we are progressing. We will keep you all appraised as these progress, to the extent we are able to. In particular, we are pleased to announce the sale of Lubborn Cheese Limited (see below) and have an agreement in principle for Llandyrnog. We hope to be able to make further formal announcements in the near future.

With regard to your questions, please continue to raise these with your line manager, or via the email address dfobemployees@uk.pwc.com.
