Tenth Announcement in respect of the settlement of the Omnibus Claim - 26/9/2013

The first interim distribution amounting to $7.80bn was paid from the Omnibus Trust today. This represents a gross dividend of 100% of Best Claim and it is being distributed to over 95% by value of the Consenting Beneficiaries (230 clients). As part of this distribution the House estate will receive $2.02bn from debtor recoveries, fees and claim assignments, $0.95bn will be deposited with the IRS to cover potential withholding tax liabilities and payments totalling $4.83bn will be made to beneficiaries of the Trust.

The 10th Progress report which will be published in October will provide further detail on the Omnibus Trust including indicative final outcomes, the status of claims from Non Consenting Beneficiaries, reserves and an update on taxes.
