Llangoed Hall Hotel Limited and Llangoed Properties Limited both in administration
Karen Dukes and Rob Lewis of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP were appointed joint Administrators of Llangoed Hall Hotel Limited and Llangoed Properties Limited on 1 November 2011. Together the companies own and operate Llangoed Hall Hotel , in Llyswen near Brecon.
Llangoed Hall Hotel is a unique award winning country house hotel with an outstanding history and a reputation for comfort and class. The current economic climate means that the hotel industry is facing some significant challenges and the hotel has found trading conditions to be difficult over the past two years.
The Administrators' immediate priority now is to review all options for the company. Whilst a buyer for the business is sought, the Administrators expect to continue trading and will look to work with the company’s existing management team, suppliers, employees and customers to try and ensure that a solution is found to take the business forward.
Whilst the business continues to trade in administration, the Administrators will look to honour deposits paid in respect of wedding bookings. Where bookings are cancelled the Administrators would not be in a position to refund deposits.
