Flying Start degree programmes

If you want a traditional university experience, but also know you’re interested in launching your career by becoming a chartered accountant, the PwC Flying Start degree programmes offer the best of both worlds. They give you a fast track route towards becoming a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) – plus the opportunity to enjoy paid placements, fully experience University life, and secure a job offer once you graduate.

What you’ll get

On the four-year course you’ll gain a degree, complete most of the ICAEW exams and could secure a graduate job – all while still at university

You can expect:

  • A traditional university experience as a full-time student – enjoy freshers week, living in halls, joining clubs and societies and being fully integrated into Uni life
  • Paid work placements with our Assurance practice during one term each year- exposing you to coaching from experienced professionals and exciting, world class clients
  • Enjoy x weeks of holiday each year, knowing your pathway to a graduate job is secure and you’ve got some money in the bank
  • Complete 12 out of 15 exams to become a chartered accountant as part of your degree – giving you additional support for your professional study and allowing you to fully qualify 2 years sooner than a traditional graduate joiner

All three Flying Start programmes are developed in partnership with the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales), to make sure you receive the best possible support in becoming a Chartered Accountant.
