What is Tax at PwC?
In Corporate Tax you’ll help clients – from the largest organisations to budding entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals – manage their tax risk, understand their obligations and comply with complex legislation. You’ll tackle a broad range of work that includes multinational advisory projects, tax compliance and researching business issues that affect clients’ tax affairs – all while keeping pace with regularly changing tax rules.
In Human Resource Consulting Services you’ll help some of the leading UK and international employers make the most of their biggest asset – their people. It’s such a diverse area, you could work on projects helping clients define their HR strategy, through to advising clients on how to improve the effectiveness of their workforce, or helping their senior leaders understand their personal complex tax obligations. This might include: international pensions, communications, employment law, talent management, tax compliance and reward and employee incentives.
In Indirect Tax a highly commercial, ever-changing and extremely wide-ranging field, you’ll be advising businesses on all areas of indirect tax such as VAT while building your knowledge and expertise and working with clients on matters critical to their business.

Where you'll build your skills, expertise and knowledge whilst completing your professional qualification. A hallmark of our approach is building skills through practical application. Whilst on our graduate programme you’ll study for a professional qualification which will take you three years to complete and through your portfolio of work you’ll have the opportunity to put into practice what you’ve learnt. The more experience you get, the more responsibility you’ll take on – from coaching junior colleagues in the early years to developing your team and leadership skills over your first five years as you approach Manager level.
