Career open days

Whether you're an undergraduate or a postgraduate, or ready for your second job, you can pick up loads of information about our work and decide which of our career options interests you most on this highly interactive day.

It's a good place to start whatever your plans. In fact, many of the people who join our graduate programmes, undergraduate internships and placements, have taken part in one of our Career Open Days.

Get involved & take something home

You'll spend a day in one of our offices across the UK, discovering what we do, how, why and where we do it, and who we do it for. You’ll find out where a career with PwC can take you – and how far you could go – and you'll be able to ask us questions face-to-face and get a better grasp of our business.

You'll get to be involved in a variety of teamwork and business games, find out if you have the makings of a commercial thinker and have the opportunity to meet recent graduates to answer all your question. All of this will focus your mind on the kind of personal and business skills we look for in people. The result? A better idea of whether professional services is for you – and lots of fun along the way.

You’ll also benefit from plenty of practical advice about assessment centres and pick up hints and tips on application and interview techniques. All of which will be invaluable whatever your next steps will be.

What you'll need

People who've been on an Career Open Day tell us it’s brilliant for getting that all-important first insight into business and opening your eyes to the skills you'll need to succeed in our process. If you have or are currently studying for a degree, you'll need:

  • on target or have achieved a 2.1 degree

Please note: You'll be able to apply for our Career Open Days all year round and if you're successful you can book on any Career Open Days up to three months in advance. We're constantly adding new dates, so keep checking our website if you're looking to attend an Career Open Days after this time.

Office Open Evening

Come and spend an evening with us to find out more about our major challenges, futures developments and our recruitment process. Meet staff and recruiters and talk informally about your career opportunities with us. We’re sure you'll find the evening informative and enjoyable.

University events

Skill sessions:

This interactive session allows you to discover what we mean by employability, what employability skills you have and how you can continue to develop them. We've a number of sessions designed to enhance your employability skills, commercial awareness and provide useful hints and tips for applications, assessments and interviews. Chat to our staff and recruiters and pick up valuable skills along the way.

PwC’s information session:

Come along to one of our information sessions, and learn about a specific area of the business. In this interactive session, you’ll get an insight into how we work with our clients and get a chance to take part in a case study to develop your skills at the same time as learning what you might do if you choose a career with us.

Employability drop-ins

Get an expert assessment of your current employability skills. An insight into what the big graduate employers are looking for. And valuable advice that will help boost your chances of getting that job you really want.

These one-to-one sessions with experienced recruiters at PwC can really make your prospects brighter. Not only will you discover where your strengths and weaknesses lie. You’ll also be able to pinpoint what you could do to make yourself more attractive to graduate recruiters.

Mock interviews

Interview nerves? You can now practice your interview techniques with a PwC recruiter. This includes a one-to-one telephone or face-to-face mock interview followed by individual feedback.

Attendance at careers fairs

We attend careers fairs nationally and they provide a great opportunity for you to meet our staff and student recruitment team. Find out about full time and undergraduate opportunities for the forthcoming recruitment season. Come prepared with questions and pick up one of our recruitment or employability brochures so that you can digest our opportunities in your own time. You could walk away with some great ideas about your future.
