Are you keen to learn more about building your confidence at work? Are you interested in becoming a better leader?

We’re excited to announce our third Aspire to Lead event which will take place in London and in Birmingham! Our events are open to anyone to sign-up from students to experienced professionals. They’re designed to profile practical insights into leadership from the perspective of inspiring leaders in their field.

Following on from the success of our Aspire to Lead 2014 event, we hosted our second global webcast on 27 February 2015 focused on the question, ‘What would you do if you were not afraid?’ The webcast was part of our ‘Aspire to Lead: The PwC Women’s Leadership Series’.

The event took place in our London office with around 200 students attending. The panel webcast featured ‘The Confidence Code’ authors – Katty Kay and Claire Shipman, Eileen Naughton – Managing Director, Google UK and Ireland and Mike Fenlon PwC’s Global and US Talent leader, and was viewed by thousands of people across the globe.

Women play a key role in leading our network and we’re committed to supporting the emergence of more female leaders across the business community. We’ve designed the day to include both internal and external guest speakers who'll provided practical ideas on how you can; put your best self forward, make the most of your personal brand, communicate with impact, think big and ultimately realise your career potential.

April 2014 we delivered our first-ever global forum focused on women and leadership. The event was part our newly created series to bring focus and guidance around how women can navigate the transition from campus to career.

The event featured Facebook COO and LeanIn.Org founder Sheryl Sandberg and LeanIn.Org president Rachel Thomas.  As business leaders, Sheryl and Rachel offered tips to graduates on finding the right job, negotiating your first salary and succeeding in your career.
