Managing Partner & Chief Operating Officer, PwC United Kingdom
Marissa is PwC’s UK Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer and has been a member of PwC’s Management Board since 2017. In addition to her COO responsibilities, Marissa also holds executive responsibility for the firm’s Sustainability strategy and chairs the firm’s International Committee and its Investment Committee.
Marissa joined the UK Management Board in May 2017 as the Head of UK Deals, and subsequently moved on 1 July 2019 to be the Head of UK Tax. In January 2022, she was appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer and joined the Executive Board, and from 1 July 2022 to Managing Partner.
Marissa is responsible for delivering the firm's sustainable, profitable growth strategy and driving investments to ensure ongoing relevance of client services. She also has executive responsibility for the firm's Sustainability strategy.

As Head of UK Deals Marissa was responsible for leading the Transactions, Lead Advisory, Restructuring & Forensics, and Value Creation & Realisation businesses. As Head of UK Tax she led the Tax, Legal, and People & Organisations businesses.
Marissa has been with the firm since 1993. She has significant experience advising private equity, sovereign investors and large corporate clients on tax related matters on international transactions. Marissa is a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW.
