Michael Rendell

Michael is a partner with PwC in the UK. He leads the Firm’s Global Human Resources Consulting practice. The practice incorporates all of the services that PwC provides to clients around the recruitment, development, reward and deployment of talent. This practice area is a major focus for the Firm and has seen significant growth over the past few years.

Michael also leads a number of large global client relationships and has a particular focus on employee reward and executive pay together with the deployment and management of talent. In addition to his roles in the HR Consulting practice, Michael is also a member of the Firm’s tax leadership team responsible for networks and markets with a particular focus on growth and new markets.

Michael began his career working for the UK tax authorities specialising in employment related tax matters. From there he moved to work for an accounting firm and then into a role leading on global reward matters at an investment bank. He joined PwC in 1990 and became a partner in 1995. During his time with the firm he has had a variety of roles and client responsibilities – with a particular focus on reward and the deployment of talent globally. He writes and speaks regularly on matters relating to Talent.
