Annalie is an English qualified lawyer and she leads PwC’s Legal Banking and Finance team in London, having been with PwC since 2006.

Annalie has extensive experience in advising borrowers and lenders alike on new financing arrangements, re-financings and bank consent requirements in connection with reorganisations and restructurings, focusing on property finance and development finance transactions. She also advises on general corporate, leveraged and acquisition finance transactions. She advises on all aspects of the legal documentation required for the lending process and has particular recent experience in advising on LIBOR transition and green/sustainable loans.

Annalie often also advises on the establishment and restructuring of in-house banks, lending businesses and treasury functions for a variety of multinational clients, particularly specialising on lending, cash pooling, PoBo/CoBo and other treasury/cash management related activities.

Annalie’s clients include some of the largest privately-owned businesses in the UK, a number of international and domestic real estate funds, family offices, ultra-high net worth individuals, international investors and large multinationals.

  • Advising Lazari Properties 3 Limited on their £400,000,000 new facility with Allianz Debt Fund SCSp SICAV-SIF secured against 5 prime freehold central London offices, Allianz’s largest single-loan debt transaction in Europe at that time, and one of the largest bilateral private borrower deals in the UK market in 2020. This deal won Real Estate Capital’s award for the UK Financing Deal of the Year 2020.
  • Advised various entities within the CEG-managed ASE II Fund on two separate new combined investment and development bank facilities with HSBC Bank PLC and Aviva Investors, which refinanced an existing facility with Santander UK PLC, raising over £100m of new debt and financing the developments of two sites in Leeds.
