Sally is a Director with 20 years’ experience of advising private equity and corporate clients on the pensions and wider people aspects of a wide variety of UK and multinational transactions, restructurings and listings, working both buy and sell side.

She is a not just a qualified pensions actuary, but also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, which enables her to put pensions in its wider context and advise clients on the whole spectrum of HR issues. This includes:

  • Pre-deal analysis of people and pensions related liabilities, costs, risks and upsides and their impact on transaction structure, price and terms – UK and internationally;
  • Guidance through deal negotiations, and negotiations with UK trustees;
  • Post-deal pensions, benefits and HR implementation, including consultation with unions /works councils / employees / pension trustees, key employee retention, culture, organisation design and workforce planning, redundancy exercises, HR function build and employee communication; and
  • Assessing the impact of corporate restructurings or other corporate change on pensions and people.
