Umang Paw

Umang is a Forensics Partner at PwC and the Chief Technology Officer of our UK Deals business where he supports our clients with investigations, legal technology and executing on large and complex programmes.

Umang is responsible for our data and technology strategy, innovation and solution delivery as it relates to how we deliver propositions and services to our clients, and providing our people with the data and technology skills for now and the future.

Umang is a technologist by background and has spent his career in creating and using forensic, legal and artificial intelligence technology solutions to solve investigatory, compliance and legal issues.

He has also led or supported a broad range of UK and cross border investigations in both the public and private sectors including cases involving bribery and corruption, anti-trust / competition, fraud, financial mis-statement, data loss and cyber security breaches, employee misconduct, tax avoidance, regulatory compliance and 3rd party contract compliance. Umang also advises in-house legal teams and law firms on the effective use of legal and artificial intelligence technology to automate or make legal processes more efficient resulting in cost savings.
