LBIE had highly integrated trading and non-trading relationships with its Affiliates, resulting in significant intercompany balances. This site has been developed to specifically provide information to all LBIE Affiliates and will be updated with as and when the Joint Administrators have additional communications for LBIE Affiliate counterparties.  If you are a LBIE Affiliate, please review this site before contacting us. Thank you for your understanding as our team continues to work on complex intercompany issues.

LBIE Affiliates’ Claim Submission Information

The Joint Administrators wish to provide LBIE Affiliates with a secure mechanism for submission of their asset claims and/or proofs of debt in an expedient and consistent manner.  To facilitate this process, we have now redesigned the LBIE Affiliates Portal in order better to suit the claim requirements of LBIE Affiliates. 

You will find on the LBIE Affiliates Portal, an asset claim form (“Affiliates Asset Claim Form”), which will allow LBIE Affiliates to file an asset claim against LBIE with ease. The existing proof of debt form (“Affiliates Proof of Debt”) has been specifically redesigned to provide a more structured framework for all LBIE Affiliates to submit details of their unsecured claim in the estate of LBIE. In addition, we have provided Guidance Notes which provide instructions to assist you in filing both your asset claim and/or unsecured claim. These Guidance Notes can be accessed in the LBIE Affiliates Portal.

We encourage you to log on to the Client Information Portal (“CIP”) website as soon as possible https://dm.pwc.com/lbie_cip , using the unique username and password provided by your Administrative User.  From the CIP homepage you will be able to access the LBIE Affiliates Portal and then click into the Affiliates Asset Claim Form and/or Affiliates Proof of Debt form where you can submit your Legal Entity’s claims. 

We have provided you with Guidance Notes, accessible via the LBIE Affiliates Portal.

Please note:  if you have previously submitted a claim, e.g. using a paper Proof of Debt, it is not necessary now to file a new Proof of Debt through the LBIE Affiliates Portal (although LBIE reserves the right to contact you to discuss your claim or request further information, even if you have already submitted a Proof of Debt and/or Valuation Statement.)

However, you may use the LBIE Affiliates Portal to update or clarify your claim or add new documentation. If you elect to use the LBIE Affiliates Portal to re-file your Proof of Debt, you must fill in all relevant sections.  The Proof of Debt generated by the LBIE Affiliates Portal will supersede any previously filed Proofs of Debt.

No acknowledgement as to the admissibility or validity of claims for dividend purposes is given or implied and all rights with regard to validity of claims, including, without limitation, the applicability of any netting or rights of set-off or the treatment of collateral are fully reserved.
