Upper Mid Market M&A Adviser of the Year 2010

PwC's Corporate Finance team has won Upper Mid Market M&A Adviser of the Year in the Acquisitions Monthly awards.

PFI European Adviser of the Year 2009

Corporate Finance has been awarded four Project Finance International awards, including European Adviser of the Year, European PPP Deal of the Year, European Infrastructure Deal of the Year and Asia Pacific PPP Deal of the Year.

These awards are a great achievement and are testimony to the team's ability to respond to a challenging year with agility and innovation. Corporate Finance has maintained a leading position in the core PFI market of the UK, operating across a range of sectors and continue to be at the forefront of the global market.

Consulting Firm of the Year

The Financial Services Regulatory Practice has won the ‘Best Consulting Firm of the Year’ award at the annual Complinet Compliance awards. These awards are the pre-eminent awards for Compliance professionals in the financial services industry.

International Tax Review European Tax Awards 2009

PricewaterhouseCoopers are proud winners of the International Tax Review European Tax Awards 2009 for ‘UK transfer pricing firm of the year’ and ‘Best use of the internet’ and on a pan-European basis we were named as ‘European transfer pricing firm of the year’ categories that were announced on 19th May 2009.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has won two prestigious FT Pensions and investment provider awards. PwC wins Auditor of the Year 2009

PricewaterhouseCoopers was last night voted Auditor of The Year at the Real FD/CBI FDs’ Excellence Awards. Finance Directors evaluated the auditors, banks, technology providers and law firms that support the UK’s companies and more than 500 finance directors voted, with PwC emerging on top in the Auditor of The Year (Large Six) category. Pricewaterhousecoopers joins ‘hall of fame’ after being named a winner in the prestigious 2008 Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) awards

PwC has been ranked as a one of the world's 'Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises' (MAKE) in the 2008 Global MAKE study. The panel of Fortune 500 leaders selected PwC in 10th place, and in the company of other top 10 winners such as Royal Dutch Shell, Toyota, Apple and Microsoft. A seven-time winner in the MAKE awards, PwC was specifically recognised for its ability to transform knowledge into value for its clients.

The BRS Real Estate Team won the Estates Review Legal and Advisory Award for Best Real Estate Business Recovery Team 2008

The team came out ahead in three of the five main criteria for excellence and the judges regarded them as "head and shoulders" above their peers. Particular mention was made of the firm's regular delivery of key information to the sector in the form of reports, our positive media coverage, the depth and breadth of services offered to the Real Estate sector and the fact that the team is the largest and most experienced BRS Real Estate team in the UK.

Industry accolade for landmark deal advice

PwC's Financial Services team has worked with client, VocaLink, to secure the National Outsourcing Association's award for Innovation in Outsourcing. The judges praised their role in a groundbreaking partnership between the client and Swedish institution, BankGiroCentralen (BGC), concluding that the outsourcing deal had "changed the nature of the whole business across Europe." This is the first time that a local payment infrastructure provider has outsourced its payments processing overseas. VocaLink has been advised by a multidisciplinary team from Strategy, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance and Performance Improvement Consulting.
