Corporate Finance was awarded Upper Mid-Market Adviser of the Year 2010, by
Acquisitions Monthly. This was a new award to recognise their exceptional
market strengths in M&A advisory.
The team won four awards at the 2009 Thomson Reuters Project Finance
International Awards. These were European Adviser of the Year, PPP Deal of the
Year for their work on the £6.2 billion M25 Widening, Infrastructure Deal of
the Year for the R1 project and Asia Pacific PPP Deal of the Year for Victoria
Desalination.
Corporate Finance’s international M&A network is advising on an average
of 300 sell side mandates at any time.
The Corporate Finance team won eight awards at the Public Private Finance
Awards 2009 including; Best Public Sector Project Team, Best Defence Project
for the UK Military Flying Training System and and Best Transport Project for
New Tyne Crossing.
The South East Corporate Finance team won Team of the Year at the Insider
magazine Awards 2010.
Awarded Deal of the Year at the Solent Deal Awards 2009 for the sale of
Organix Brands Ltd to Hero AG.
According to Thomson Financial, Corporate Finance advised on a higher
volume and value of private equity deals, $50m - $1bn in value, than any other
financial adviser in the UK in the ten years to December 2009.
Sean Williams won Corporate Financier of the Year 2008 at the ICAEW
Corporate Finance Faculty 11th Annual Awards. The Corporate Financier of the
Year award honours those from across the corporate finance world who have
demonstrated innovation, skill, imagination, commitment and great commercial
awareness in advising clients on one or more deals.
