Clive was appointed leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers UK forest, paper & packaging practice in July 2004 and went on to also become director of the firm's global practice in July 2005, with responsibility for developing our thinking and services in the sector on a global basis. He is also the global advisory leader for the group, bringing together our best people to support our clients' strategic requirements.
Through his responsibility for developing the firm's business in Scandinavia, Clive has worked with many of the world's leading forest and paper companies based in that region over the past 15 years. He has also acted for a number of non-European forest and paper companies on cross-border investment strategies.
Originally in audit, Clive has over 20 years experience in advising international companies on mergers, acquisitions and disposals, capital markets transactions, cross-border investment and corporate reporting.
Clive Suckling is a graduate of Oxford University and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Outside of work, he enjoys family activities, with three demanding children, as well as travel and a range of sports.
