Clive Hinds
UK sector leader

Clive has been UK Transport & Logistics leader since November 2005.   He has focused on the sector, particularly international shipping, ports and logistics companies, for much of his career; one of his first roles with the firm was verifying bills of lading for a major shipping company. 

Clive’s career has since included leading UK Scandinavia group and having responsibility for technical quality of the firm’s Indian practice.  Both these roles gave him the opportunity to travel, visiting shipping firms in Scandinavia and a variety of organisations across India and the Far East.   He has also spent time working in Zambia.

Clive has detailed understanding of and wide experience in:

• M&A projects
• regulatory issues, business unpredictability and fraud
• working with international groups - particularly trans-national audits
• US listing regulations
• shipping and logistics businesses.

Clive has been a partner since 1991 and is now based in the St Albans office.

When not at work his hobbies include swimming, yoga, tennis and walking in the country.
