Richard has been a partner since 1996, spending much of his time in our North East Practice.  Since 1^st July 2008, he has been based in our Manchester office where he advises a number of locally based and multinational companies.

Richard has worked with a number of companies in the chemicals industry, giving him first hand experience of the issues facing the sector.   His experience includes domestic and international due diligence projects and public circular projects.

Richard is married with two teenage children.  In his spare time, he enjoys sport, mainly as a spectator now, but still tries to play football in a local veterans’ league.

As UK Chemicals leader Richard coordinates our internal network of sector specialists, facilitating the sharing of sector expertise within our assurance, tax and advisory practices.  He is also a member of our Global chemicals sector team and works directly with clients in the sector.
