IAS 39 replacement project: ACT/PwC webcast
The IASB is moving rapidly to replace IAS39 with a significantly different standard during 2010. Exposure drafts are coming out in stages this year with the first on classification and measurement just published in mid July, with comments due in by mid September. PwC and the Association of Corporate Treasurers have produced a webcast that will include an explanation of the proposals and the implications for treasurers from Yann Umbricht, PwC UK corporate treasury leader, Sandra Thompson, PwC technical partner, leading into questions from Stuart Siddall, ACT Chief Executive and a general discussion.
