The bigger picture

While macro-threats such as the risks posed by climate change may have fallen off the front pages, CEOs views display a confusing underlying picture. More than half the UK respondents are already making changes (or plan to do so in the next 12 months) in response to the challenges posed by climate change across all key areas of their business. And in each case, the majority are already showing a return on investment (or anticipate doing so in the next 12 months).

However, CEOs are still looking to the government for clarity on climate change issues. 80% of CEOs feel that a clear and consistent framework from the government is critical/important in helping them to adapt their business to deal with the issues raised by climate change
