The toolkit can be accessed through our web-based news service, Indirect Tax Weekly Highlights. Register for this service and you will be asked to fill out a short registration form. If you are already registered with us, our VAT Disclosure Toolkit will be available to you by simply visiting the ITWH site. The VAT Disclosure Toolkit, which is free of charge, is designed to help companies meet the new VAT disclosure requirements that came into force on 1 August 2004. It includes an interactive diagnostic tool to assist in determining whether or not a particular arrangement may require disclosure. The toolkit also includes a comprehensive set of documents providing details of what has to be disclosed to HMRC, examples of the format that disclosure must take, and links to relevant legislation.
