On 28 November 2005, the Chancellor announced that he was repealing the requirement for all UK quoted companies to publish an Operating and Financial Review. Instead, these companies will now be required to publish a new Business Review. The DTI is currently undertaking a consultation process around what they are terming 'narrative business reporting'.
This paper looks at the Business Review debate in relation to some strategic aerospace & defence issues.
