Review of executive compensation finds change is urgently needed

PricewaterhouseCoopers has launched the findings of its annual survey into executive compensation trends.  Executive compensation: FTSE 100 review of the year 2008 shows that current models of executive compensation are broken – and not just in the financial services sector.

As, many companies continue to struggle with their executive pay arrangements – often finding that the current models are not meeting the needs of executives or shareholders – the prevailing economic environment is exposing many of these stresses to an even greater degree.

This years’ review looks at a range of perspectives and seeks to establish what organisations can do to move forward and find an approach that meets the needs of all stakeholders.
