This publication provides example sets of financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2007, illustrating the required disclosure and presentation for UK groups and UK companies, whether you report under IFRS or UK GAAP. It includes three sets of accounts:
This annual report has been prepared to show the disclosures and format that might be expected for a group of its size that prepares its financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), UK law and listing rules requirements, for a fictional corporate entity (IFRS GAAP plc).
An example annual report including the consolidated financial statements of the GAAP UK plc group of companies. The annual report has been prepared to show the disclosures and format that might be expected for a group of its size that prepares its financial statements in accordance with the Companies Act and UK Accounting Standards. GAAP UK plc is a fictitious unlisted company that is incorporated in the UK. It has a number of UK and overseas investments, including subsidiaries and joint ventures.
An example set of financial statements for UK GAAP Limited. These financial statements have been prepared to show how an unlisted UK company might prepare its financial statements in accordance with the Companies Act and UK Accounting Standards.
