Infrastructure in India: A vast land of construction opportunity

This paper examines the opportunities for construction companies in India, one of the fastest growing economies in the world. It also looks at the structuring opportunities and some of the challenges overseas participants are likely to encounter.
It is estimated that India will become the world’s third largest economy by 2050. Liberalisation of government regulations and a deliberate strategy on the part of the Government to promote infrastructure spells opportunity for construction companies.
