Total deal value in the transportation and logistics industry announced during the first three quarters of 2008 is expected to surpass 2007 totals. The announcement of 14 large deals (disclosed value of at least $1 billion) with a total deal value of $66 billion in 2008 is on pace to exceed the 16 large deals and $88 billion deal value announced last year.
