This report provides an update on events since we published 'Sourcing overseas for the retail sector - part one' in December 2004
The abolition of trade barriers in January this year and the dramatic increase in imports has led to the re-introduction of quotas on certain types of clothing from China. This update examines the current impact on UK clothing retailers and consumers and identifies those retailers most likely to be affected.
