World Watch Issue 3, 2008 – governance and corporate reporting magazine |
|
November 2008
This edition of World Watch demonstrates that the 'credit crunch' has served as a wake-up call to improve information reported to the markets and even to reshape the current reporting model.
Action is being taken - with unprecedented speed in some quarters - to improve reporting through better guidance from the regulators and better governance. However, there is evidence that much work is still needed for management teams to provide a joined-up view of their companies' performance and sustainability to enable users to make sound decisions based on what is reported.
