PwC's 4th biennial engineering and construction sector summary of the Global Economic Crime Survey scrutinised fraud and associated integrity risks during a period in which most territories around the world experienced either a dramatic economic downturn or at the very least a significant slowdown. Against this backdrop, the survey investigated the root causes of economic crime, and the way in which it affects engineering and construction businesses worldwide. Over 225 respondents in the engineering & construction sector completed the survey, spread over 43 countries.
