Until recently the UK has had a very centralised tax system.  Taxes have been set (and spent) by the UK Government, with little variation or local autonomy across the UK.

All this is changing.  New Scottish taxes are already in place, and new taxes are coming to Northern Ireland and Wales.

In this short video, Sharon Blain discusses whether devolution can be a key part of a modernised tax system that really helps all parts of the UK.  Could it incentivise, support, and reward economic growth?
