PricewaterhouseCoopers
LLP in Newcastle has appointed 22 new graduates, nine of whom have joined from
local universities, including Newcastle University and Durham University. The
majority of the firm's graduates will be studying for the Association of
Chartered Accountants (ACA) qualification, and will work in the firm’s
assurance, risk assurance services, business recovery services, public services
and tax departments.
Four of the graduates have joined from the ‘Flying Start’ programme which is run in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Newcastle University and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. PricewaterhouseCoopers is delighted to see a second year of students graduate from the degree programme with most of these graduates securing training contracts with the firm across the UK.
PricewaterhouseCoopers was named The Times/High Fliers newspaper No 1 graduate employer for the fourth year running and continues to be an attractive career option for individuals. In the last year, the Newcastle office has continued to grow and the firm is looking for qualified staff in all areas of the business to support its development plans.
