PwC in the Community
In Northern Ireland, we are committed to playing a meaningful role wherever
we operate, by developing sustainable partnerships that meet the needs of our
communities and the firm.
As the curtain came down on the last performance of PwC’s 24
th
annual pantomime it had set three records in as many days… first time in
Northern Ireland; a record number of children attending a regional panto tour
and, according to producer, Salim Loxley, the best ever tour.
PwC Northern Ireland gave two local charities a £14,000 boost, thanks to a
year of hard work from staff and their Social Committee.
What is Corporate Responsibility (CR)? Put simply, for
PricewaterhouseCoopers it’s about managing our business on a broader basis than
simple financial performance. It is about understanding our impacts on our
people, our clients, our suppliers, society, and the environment, managing
these appropriately, and identifying areas where we can deliver increased value
to all our stakeholders.
