I’m Hugh Crossey - welcome to PricewaterhouseCoopers in Northern Ireland.

PwC takes an active part in the region’s economy. Not only are we Northern Ireland’s largest firm of professional advisors - and the largest private sector graduate employers - we’re also helping to shape the local economy.

Over the past decade, Northern Ireland has enjoyed rapid economic growth, and now has amongst the lowest unemployment in the UK and more people in work than we have seen in over half a century.

Increasingly recognised as one of the most attractive investment locations in Europe, a PwC survey found that with less than 3 percent of the UK population, Northern Ireland accounted for over 9 per cent of mobile inward investment into the UK.

Nearly 140 internationally-owned companies have discovered that Northern irland is a good place to do business, with a skilled and educated workforce, and low operating costs.

When he visited here recently, New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg said that Belfast would become a leading hub for global investment within a decade.
