James Wong is an Accounting Advisory partner at PwC in the UK, providing IFRS and US GAAP technical accounting advice and assisting companies through accounting change. He specialises in leading GAAP policy and implementation projects, cross-border due diligence assignments and related GAAP analyses.
James’ team helps clients to understand the technical aspects of accounting change on financial reporting as well as the practical implications of implementing the changes. The team has developed a number of flexible and scalable solutions that can be adapted to most client situations depending on their complexity, resourcing requirements and the scale of change.
James has over twelve years’ experience working on IFRS and US GAAP conversions and capital markets listing projects. He has also supported GAAP conversion clients in North America, Africa and Asia. James is a regular speaker on IFRS and on the process of embedding accounting change into processes and systems.
