John Fisher
John has over 15 years experience as a chartered accountant in the UK and Hong Kong. Since 1992 John has specialised in forensic accounting, undertaking a wide range of projects including numerous litigation support matters and a number of major investigations.
John is the UK leader of our Transaction and Shareholder Disputes & Investigations practice. John advises clients on formulating claims in completion accounts disputes (expert determination), assisting in negotiations with opposing parties and the production of submissions to independent experts.He is increasingly sought by clients and their legal advisers to assist in the drafting of contracts to ensure, as far as possible, that contracts reflect the clients' intentions.
John regularly assists clients in preparing or reviewing draft completion accounts to ensure that full advantage is taken of the terms of sale and purchase agreements.
John also advises on quantum issues in High Court litigation (including breach of warranty and breach of contract claims).
