Julie Clark leads the sport and leisure practice at PwC in the UK and is a member of the Global Hospitality & Leisure practice. She has a wealth of experience in the sector advising a wide range of organisations, Governments and funders on investment opportunities in major events, capital projects and sport and leisure entities.
In the sports industry, Julie has worked with a wide range of sports organisations and their funders to evaluate the market opportunities and financial risks associated with funding new stadia and arenas. Projects include Wembley, the Emirates Stadium, the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ascot and Silverstone.
She led PwC’s work with England 2018 on their bid to host the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and is working with the Olympic Park Legacy Company to secure a legacy tenant for the Main Stadium.
In the wider leisure sector, Julie’s clients have ranged from Legoland theme parks, the O2 Arena, the developer of the Shard and most of the major health club chains.
She was the editor of “Back on Track” which provides forecasts on the global sports industry, is a regular media commentator and a member of the UKTI’s Global Sports Group
