Leonie is a tax partner who has been with PwC for over 20 years, during which time she has specialised in advising private clients.

Her clients include shareholders, partners and senior management of private companies and businesses, entrepreneurs and wealthy families. Much of her work over recent years has focused on capital taxes advice, both capital gains tax and inheritance tax, in the context of estate planning. In addition she regularly advises her clients on a variety of other matters including structuring business ventures, tax efficient reward, residence and domicile issues and overseas property ownership.

The advice needed by her clients means she has extensive experience of advising on cross border issues and also of working with other advisors.

Over recent months she has concentrated on the impact for her clients of the changes in the UK to the taxation of non domiciled individuals. She has also advised many private banks and trust companies of the issues and challenges arising from these changes.

She is a regular contributor to the money pages of the press and has often been heard on Radio 4’s Moneybox.
