Peter Clokey

Peter is a partner in the Valuations practice.  He spends a considerable proportion of his time advising clients on transactions and related valuations.  With extensive experience of advisory assignments and a background in the investment banking sector, he is the valuation partner who handles situations where the parties appear to be heading towards litigation.  He has provided expert witness evidence to the UK High Court and international Arbitration Courts on twenty occasions and has acted as an expert on numerous further occasions where the parties have settled out of court.

Peter leads the group that provides expert determinations of value and Fairness Opinions where these are required under UK law or in particular Shareholder Agreements/Articles of Association/Joint Venture Agreements.

Peter sits on the Exam Review Board (having chaired it for several years) for the Corporate Finance Diploma examination set by the Institutes of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and in Canada. He is Deputy Chairman of the ICAEW's Valuations Special Interest Group and a member of the Council of the Society of Share and Business Valuers.
