Richard Weaver is a partner in the London Capital Markets Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Within the Group Richard has specific responsibility for work in relation to capital market transactions in the financial services sector. Richard has over fifteen years of experience of capital markets work including Main Market, City Code and AIM transactions. He has led the reporting accountant work on major IPOs such as Friends Provident and Benfield Group and has led transaction work on assignments such as the acquisition of GRE by AXA and the merger of Britannic Group and Resolution Life.
Richard recently spent 18 months on secondment to HM Treasury where his principal role was lead policy adviser on the implementation in the UK of the European Prospectus Directive. Richard is also a member of the Primary Markets Group of the London Stock Exchange.
