Since joining PwC direct from Oxford University, Richard has nearly thirty years' experience in advising financial services clients on transactions.

Richard has been a Partner since 1998. He has led a range of major transactions for AXA, Swiss Re, Standard Life, Anglo American and Lloyds Bank amongst others.  More recently, Richard has been the lead partner advising on the IPO of TSB on the Main Market and Tungsten plc on AIM as well as the London Stock Exchange acquisition of Russell Group.

Seconded to HM Treasury between 2003-2005, Richard acted as lead policy adviser on the implementation of the UK Prospectus Rules. He has served as a member of the Listing Authority Advisory Panel which advises the FCA Board on the UK Listing Rules and as a member of the London Stock Exchange’s Primary Markets Group.
