Our Key Real Estate Services

Property Acquisitions / Disposals

We advise occupiers and investors on strategy and implementation of complex property acquisitions including multi-tenanted property due diligence and bespoke title reports.

In addition, we advise on lease negotiation, value realisation, cost mitigation, managing onerous and contingent lease liabilities. We also act for office, retail and leisure clients and landed estates for lease renewals, licences, portfolio reviews and due diligence exercises.

We empower your investment decisions when updating your property portfolio including lease re-gear portfolios, sale and leaseback strategies.

Planning and Development

We offer a unique planning capability that is integrated with our real estate services. This includes section 106 agreements and associated deeds of variation for both residential and commercial developments. We also undertake planning due diligence to identify onerous and outstanding planning conditions and obligations which enables us to expertly advise on planning aspects of corporate and banking transactions.

We also carry out bespoke due diligence for developers of large plots of land proposed for development, identifying site constraints and putting forward solutions to deal with issues which may otherwise impact proposed schemes. We draft and negotiate agreements for sale, option and development agreements subject to planning, acting for both land owners and developers.

Real Estate Finance

Our team has significant experience in dealing with both LMA and bespoke short term lending transactions acting for both lenders and borrowers in connection with acquisition, refinance and development finance transactions.

This includes carrying out full due diligence, reviewing and preparing CLLS certificates of title, preparing bespoke reports on title, undertaking pre-appointment security reviews, consents to dealing, releases and substituted security.

Stressed/Distressed Real Estate

We are engaged by lenders and insolvency practitioners to provide pre-appointment advice on potential enforcement and value add strategies. We also assist in the relocation of assets within a group company structure to add resale value and we provide disposal strategies, including auction and private treaty sales.
