Material gains in sustainability: the business case for the construction products sector


Sustainability is seen as a commercial opportunity and increasingly a strategic asset in the construction products sector. One third of respondents in this joint PwC and Construction Products Association report consider it as important to their business as supply chain security, energy costs, regulation and skills.


However, the majority of people we surveyed hadn’t yet started to quantify the commercial value that the sustainability agenda brings to their organisations. Knowing how best to measure and communicate the value of sustainability to internal and external stakeholders is vital, particularly in tough economic times.
