Independent expert services

In circumstances where there are unresolved questions or disagreement over value, we provide independent, expert advice and formal opinions on value.  Our dedicated team of valuation specialists has extensive experience in providing expert witness services and oral testimony in courts and arbitration tribunals and expert determinations of value (for example, in accordance with shareholder agreements and articles of association).

We provide valuation advice that is robust and capable of withstanding scrutiny (for example from opposing experts or the Court), by applying industry specific insights, understanding the risks around valuing an asset when economic conditions are uncertain and market data is limited, and drawing upon a wide range of specialists from the PwC network.

We understand the legal process and have extensive experience in working with legal teams, and pride ourselves in delivering valuations that are commercial and credible and reflect ‘real world’ circumstances whilst still operating within any appropriate legal framework.

We provide truly independent valuation services and are recognised for our non-partisan approach to expert witness engagements, and our experience and expertise has resulted in a number of high profile valuation appointments.
