UK Finance Directors vote PricewaterhouseCoopers top auditor

PricewaterhouseCoopers was last night voted Auditor of The Year at the Real FD/CBI FDs' Excellence Awards. Finance Directors evaluated the auditors, banks, technology providers and law firms that support the UK's companies and more than 500 finance directors voted, with PwC emerging on top in the Auditor of The Year (Large Six) category.

Richard Sexton, UK head of assurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, said:

"We are particularly delighted to win this award which is all the more important to us because it was voted for by Finance Directors who experience our work first hand.
