Our Tax Research & Development (R&D) team has been awarded the Best Big Four Tax Team of the Year 2012 at the Lexis Nexis Taxation Awards.

PwC has been awarded UK Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year 2011 and European Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year 2011 at the International Tax Review Awards in May 2011.

PwC's Corporate Finance team has won Upper Mid Market M&A Adviser of the Year in the Acquisitions Monthly awards.

PFI European Adviser of the Year 2009

Corporate Finance has been awarded four Project Finance International awards, including European Adviser of the Year, European PPP Deal of the Year, European Infrastructure Deal of the Year and Asia Pacific PPP Deal of the Year.

These awards are a great achievement and are testimony to the team's ability to respond to a challenging year with agility and innovation. Corporate Finance has maintained a leading position in the core PFI market of the UK, operating across a range of sectors and continue to be at the forefront of the global market.

The Financial Services Regulatory Practice has won the 'Best Consulting Firm of the Year' award at the annual Complinet Compliance awards. These awards are the pre-eminent awards for Compliance professionals in the financial services industry.

International Tax Review European Tax Awards 2009

PricewaterhouseCoopers are proud winners of the International Tax Review European Tax Awards 2009 for 'UK transfer pricing firm of the year' and 'Best use of the internet' and on a pan-European basis we were named as 'European transfer pricing firm of the year' categories that were announced on 19th May 2009.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has won two prestigious FT Pensions and investment provider awards. Marc Hommel, UK pensions leader said: "This is the third year in a row we have won a flagship industry award. Pricewaterhousecoopers joins 'hall of fame' after being named a winner in the prestigious 2008 Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) awards

PwC has been ranked as a one of the world's 'Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises' (MAKE) in the 2008 Global MAKE study. The panel of Fortune 500 leaders selected PwC in 10th place, and in the company of other top 10 winners such as Royal Dutch Shell, Toyota, Apple and Microsoft. A seven-time winner in the MAKE awards, PwC was specifically recognised for its ability to transform knowledge into value for its clients.


The BRS Real Estate Team won the Estates Review Legal and Advisory Award for Best Real Estate Business Recovery Team 2008

The team came out ahead in three of the five main criteria for excellence and the judges regarded them as "head and shoulders" above their peers. Particular mention was made of the firm's regular delivery of key information to the sector in the form of reports, our positive media coverage, the depth and breadth of services offered to the Real Estate sector and the fact that the team is the largest and most experienced BRS Real Estate team in the UK.


What Would You Like To Change site shortlisted for a British Interactive Media Association Award

The popular 'What would you like to change?' site has been shortlisted as one of cleverest uses of media to communicate for the prestigious BIMA Awards. It was choosen in the B2B Distribution & Media category for its inventive way of communicating our positioning in the consulting market. This campaign launched last year and the team watched traffic increase daily as clients, competitors and members of the public told us what they'd like to change. The overall winner is announced on 27 November.


At the International Tax Review Awards PwC was confirmed as UK Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year

On a very successful night for the transfer pricing network we also won the awards in Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Norway, Portugal and Ukraine - the most national awards of any firm.

PwC win two awards at the Professional Pensions annual awards
PwC won two prestigious pensions advisory awards at the Professional Pensions annual awards dinner:

Pensions and Benefits Consultancy of the Year, collected by our HRS pensions team. We beat off competition from six other finalists - Aon, Hymans Robertson, KPMG, LCP, Mercer and Origen - to win this most prestigious, most competitive and best known of all the pension consulting awards. It is only the second time in its 11 year history that a multi-disciplinary firm has won it. The first time was last year, when the winner was .... PwC! This win cements our growing reputation among key pension decision makers in the market.

Sponsor Covenant Assessment Provider of the Year, collected by Jonathon Land of BRS. There were six finalists, the other five being Baker Tilly, Grant Thornton, Kroll, LCP and Mercer. PwC is the first winner of this new category of award. This is an extremely important win for the firm, particularly at a time that economic uncertainties are creating renewed demand for covenant reviews.

PwC wins Advisory Firm of the Year
Finance Directors voted PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as Advisory Firm of the Year at the FDs' Excellence Awards run by Real FD magazine in partnership with the CBI. The firm won the award for the third time in four years.
