By joining Tax you’ll also be involved with our innovative One Tax Rotation programme. This gives you the opportunity to work outside your normal team in Tax for up to six months and develop your transferable skills.
You’ll help clients – from the largest organisations to budding entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals – manage their tax risk, understand their obligations and comply with complex legislation. You’ll tackle a broad range of work that includes multinational advisory projects, tax compliance and researching business issues that affect clients’ tax affairs.
You’ll help businesses align their tax strategy with their wider business strategy, accelerate the impact of technology in tax, unlock data insights and meet their domestic and global compliance and reporting obligations.
A highly commercial and extremely wide-ranging field, you’ll be advising businesses on all areas of indirect tax such as VAT, while building your knowledge and expertise and working with clients on matters critical to their business. You could be involved in purely UK activities or global projects, working on more efficient internal processes or on a merger or acquisition.
Have a break from study and exams, and get stuck in to Tax work straight away. Then apply what you’ve learned in the real world to your Chartered Accountancy studies, predominantly in years 2 and 3 of this new Graduate Programme. You’ll advise our London clients on Corporate or Indirect Tax matters, but from our Birmingham office
You’ll help some of the leading employers make the most of their biggest asset – their people. You could work on projects helping clients define their HR strategy, through to advising clients on how to improve the effectiveness of their workforce, helping their senior executives understand their global personal tax obligations, or implementing cutting-edge technology.
Joining the Tax Associate programme puts you in a great position to decide if Tax is for you. You’ll benefit from hands-on client experience, without having to study for exams at this stage. Some graduate placements even decide to extend their placements if the business offers that option.
