Our Accounting Flying Start programme lasts four years and is an excellent way to fast track your career in the accounting profession

You can choose to study the Flying Start Degree programmes at

Newcastle, Reading, Nottingham or Manchester university

 

You can choose to study the PwC Flying Start programmes at Newcastle University Business School, Henley Business School (University of Reading), Nottingham University Business School or Alliance Manchester Business School (University of Manchester) - each of which has a slightly different course - you can read more below.

During your four-year degree, you’ll have three paid work placements in our audit team, during university term time. These placements will give you a good insight into the world of auditing and life at PwC, enabling you to gain professional experience, real-time feedback, and client exposure. During your placements, you’ll earn a competitive salary, you could have some of your living costs supplemented. Applications for September 2020 will open later this year, in the meantime register your interest here.

Henley Business School at the University of Reading

Accounting and Business Flying Start Degree

Combine work with study at the scenic campus of Henley Business School at the University of Reading whilst you fast track your career. As you progress through this four year BA (Hons) Accounting & Business degree programme you’ll be taught by award-winning, engaging lecturers who are passionate about their subject. Their wealth of professional experience and innovative teaching methods will inspire you, enhance your learning experience and bring the subjects of accountancy and business to life.

You’ll need at least AAB grades from three A-levels or equivalent (excluding General Studies), a grade 6 (or B) in GCSE Maths and GCSE English (or equivalent). It doesn’t matter which subjects you’ve studied at A-level, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Newcastle University

Business Accounting and Finance (includes business placement)

With a decade of success in developing a pioneering programme, the four-year BA (Honours) Business Accounting and Finance degree at Newcastle University Business School was the first of it’s kind. Nottingham University Business School

Accountancy

Nottingham is regarded as one of the UK’s most desirable places to study, offering all the buzz of city living while retaining its strong sense of community. It’s one of the UK’s most cosmopolitan and vibrant cities and both the University’s Jubilee Campus and University Park Campus are close to the city centre. Like our other Flying Start degree programmes, this is aimed at ambitious students who want to study accountancy, and are looking to fast track their way into a career in business. As well as enjoying a traditional university experience, you’ll gain a BSc Accountancy from one of the UK’s top five business schools for graduate career prospects.

You’ll need at least AAB grades from three A-levels or equivalent (excluding General Studies), plus a grade 57 (A) in GCSE maths and a grade 46 (B) or above in two further GCSE Englishs. It doesn’t matter which subjects you’ve studied at A-level, we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

Alliance Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester

BSc (Honours) Business Accounting (with industrial/professional experience)

We're pleased to announce the launch of our fourth accountancy Flying Start programme in association with the Alliance Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester. The BSc Honours Business Accounting (with industrial/professional experience) programme offers an innovative course which will involve research informed teaching, as well as paid placements with PwC throughout the programme. Students will gain 12/15 ICAEW exemptions to fast track their professional career.

You’ll need at least AAA grades from three A-levels or equivalent qualifications (General Studies is normally accepted if one of four A-levels passed in the same sitting.), a grade 7 or above in GCSE maths and a grade 6 GCSE English language. It doesn’t matter which subjects you’ve studied at A-level, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
