Assurance

As a graduate in our Assurance practice, you’ll learn and develop the specialist skills our clients look for and value the most. This will include studying towards a professional qualification, with support from us all the way. After you’ve qualified, we’ll provide you with the opportunities and the support that you need to develop a successful career with us - whichever direction you choose to go. It’s your choice.

  • You'll conduct audits on client accounts, using our innovative auditing methodology, and provide additional business advisory services, including performance measurement and corporate reporting, to meet the needs of investors.
  • Our clients include global players, listed companies, middle market organisations and smaller fast growing companies.
  • As part of the graduate programme you'll undertake a blended learning programme involving; professional qualifications, gaining knowledge of the industry and market, self-development, awareness and leadership skills.

Middle East career options

You can start your Assurance career in various locations across the Middle East Region. PwC offices are located in: Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Palestinian Territories and the United Arab Emirates. Professional Qualifications

As well as gaining valuable work experience, you’ll work towards the Chartered Accountancy qualification in your first years at PwC. You'll study towards gaining the ACA qualification with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or towards gaining a CPA qualification (Certified Public Accountant), towards the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW), or a SOCPA (Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants).

Academic Requirements

Our core application route looks at your academic achievement. We’re looking for enthusiastic, driven graduates who are degree qualified (up to Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree). Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or other related field from any university.

Job Requirements

You will be required to demonstrate a business level knowledge of English when communicating (both written and orally), as well as typically exhibiting the following knowledge and skills:

  • Self motivation, confidence and a strong work ethic
  • Successful performance within team environments, enjoying being part of a team
  • Ability to work and deliver under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Strong data handling skills and the ability to gather information and present it in a professional manner
  • Flexibility, adaptability and effective prioritisation skills
  • Knowledge and experience of the Middle East Region is a definite advantage
  • Flexibility to travel and to work at client sites during the week
  • Verbal communication skills in Arabic are useful but not essential
  • Strong IT & Microsoft office skills especially Excel and powerpoint

As a graduate in the Tax and Legal Services practice of a PwC firm in the Middle East Region, you’ll learn and develop the specialist skills our clients look for and value most. We will also support you in studying towards a relevant professional qualification.

A full-time graduate position in our Tax & Legal practice will provide you with the opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast growing business which is operating in a tax, legal & regulatory framework that gets ever more complex. You will also have the opportunity to work with a broad portfolio of clients across various industry sectors.

You could find yourself providing tax advice on: mergers and acquisitions, corporation tax, transfer pricing, treasury and finance, international structuring, succession planning, indirect tax, tax compliance, workforce structuring, reward and compensation frameworks, expatriate tax and international mobility.
