What are the top priorities for UK CEOs in 2018?

21st CEO Survey - UK findings

Staying competitive in a fast-changing, fractured world

UK findings in PwC’s 21st CEO Survey reveal a leap in confidence about the future. The proportion of CEOs optimistic about economic prospects has more than doubled to 36%, and they are even more confident about their own businesses, with 88% of UK CEOs anticipating growth in the year ahead.

Increased positivity is tempered by concerns in key areas, including uncertainty in the global trading environment and emerging technology issues, notably cyber security.

Our findings, based on a global sample of 1,293 leaders – including 193 UK CEOs – suggest that most are aligned with their global peers in seeing a high level of fragmentation and are focusing on ways to manage these trends proactively, while fostering growth.
